Training

Dana Mathew - Software Instructor/Consultant

First and foremost, I am a corporate software trainer. I love training and enabling adults to do their job more efficiently in less time. My classroom philosophy is that learning should be fun. I bring an engaging and enthusiastic dynamic to my classroom. I encourage “cheating” – coaching each other, referencing the manual, etc. I share my work experiences and invite my students to do the same to explain the various software feature uses.

One of my students once explained to me that he was in Excel training to ‘expand his box’. I love this analogy. We all get comfortable just doing things the way we have always done them. Since you don’t know what you don’t know, you do things the same way, when there could be a much more efficient way to accomplish your task.

Let me help you expand your ‘software knowledge’ box. I train the entire Microsoft Office suite and numerous Adobe Creative Cloud applications and web languages/apps (see Courses Instructed). Power BI is my most popular course in 2023. Over the last 20+ years, I have taught customized courses for SureTrak, SAP, Prezi, and sales applications. With all the open source applications out there today, I’m happy to learn and train your specific applications.
