Hello. I’m Dana Mathew, an enthusiastic and engaging software trainer and consultant. I’ve been training adult learners for over 20 years. There is nothing I love more than seeing the ‘ah-ha’ moment in a participant’s eyes when he/she just learned a useful skill. I never tire of helping people learn and grow to become more time efficient at work. I welcome the opportunity to train your personnel or work with you on a software tool to expedite your workflow. Have a new software application that needs rolled out? I learn new software with ease. Trust me when I say most subject matter experts are not great trainers. My favorite thing about my career choice is meeting and getting to know so many fascinating people; as I train across many industries and many job titles.
I came into this industry after working in Inside Sales and Marketing. In 1998, I joined a software training company named ExecuTrain. I have since built on my software knowledge base, training approximately 1,800 employees per year in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area (Research Triangle Park).
My life outside my career is centered on my husband and best friend, Abe, and my three teenagers. I love watching them participate in their respective sports and activities. I also have a boxer who loves to jog/walk with me. In the morning, you’ll find me enjoying a large cup of coffee on my back-porch swing. I love traveling, watching football, and getting lost in a good book.
