Weekly Tip: Working with multiple monitors

Hooking up a second screen and need to change it’s settings:
Right-click your Desktop and choose Display Settings.
Click on a screen and you are setting that screen’s properties.
You can click and drag to move screen 2 to the left of screen 1 to match your physical screen setup.
You can change the brightness of either screen.
But more than likely, you are in here to go to Multiple Displays. If you wish to click and drag programs to your second screen, choose Extend these displays. To show the same thing on both screens (ie. you’re giving a presentation on the second monitor) then choose Duplicate these displays.
